an old master

thank you all for your comments and stars yesterday

today was my photography class and the subject was still life in the style of the Dutch old masters paintings. not sure we achieved that.

the only light we had was a candle. This was the best shot of loads. we were only supposed to take one shot but I was experimenting with the ISO as i had taken the wrong lens.(55m kit lens) I normally carry the other kit lens to (17-135) but not today.

any criticism greatly welcomed as this is the first time I have done this kind of shot.
