Matt's World

Sunshine, his faithful mutt, and a gentle slope down which to trundle on his skateboard: what More could Matt ask for? Well, shortly afterwards he headed off to his pal's house to play in a tree. Which probably made his day.

The rest of us went to the pool, with Andy making great progress in his swimming, and George discovering he could leap in from the side - which was both brilliant and a teeny bit scary.

Later, during an exciting bit in Doctor Who, Matt was tapping his foot frenziedly on the floor. "Shhhh," I said. "I can't hear what they're saying."

Matt turned to me, grinned sheepishly, and said "neither can I."
