Waning moon

Today, as the afternoon approached, the sky became very dark and stormy. I was working and missed the rain and wind, that produced incredible rainbows afterwards!
As I finished up my last haircut, I looked out the window and saw the sky clear to the west, as the sun was setting, creating layers of pink and orange in the clouds. It was really beautiful, but, by the time I got out it had gone by.
The sky began to clear and I decided to try and catch the moon rising. It really was a beautiful evening. The waning moon was rising, the stars were bright and clear, as the mist was rising off the lake.
What a great way to end the day!
