Coming to a sticky end

Walking along the local Groynes track I noticed these two butterflies stuck in a spider's web. It was hard to tell if they were alive or dead because the wind was blowing so hard they were constantly on the move. I guess that's a couple more that won't be laying their eggs in my broccoli.
