...Day Five - Can you see me?...
Albert's Little Brother travelled from the Isle of Wight to Fareham today. And was ever so excited to see some old friends and some young friends who are quite new, mainly because of their age.
Albert's Little Brother had great fun having sword fights and karate lessons with two young chaps who thought he was just cool. He learned to air-box and has discovered the comical nature of the word "shoe-horn" to anyone under the age of five.
Later in the day he went to a pub with a great group of friends. Whilst lots of catch up conversation was occurring he managed to find a friend in Uncle Rod who clearly enjoyed play as much as Albert's Little Brother. Although Albert's Little Brother did begin to get a little over-tired and fed up of being called Seamus.
The thing is though, he discovered that there are a lot of people in the world who have been through similar things in their lives. For example, other people find themselves missing loved ones...other people have had the same searches for coal...others even have trouble in the rain with hot scales. It occurred to Albert's Little Brother that there are like-minded people everywhere and that although we are all unique, there is always someone that will understand and be able to offer advice or a friendly word.
Throughout the adventures in the pub, a storm was raging outside with the heaviest rain Albert's Little Brother had seen in a long while and some excellently impressive lightning which filled up the sky and added extra lighting effects to the interior decor of the venue.
He went to bed feeling re-energised and excited to see what tomorrow will bring.
That is all.
