Twilight Waters

After a hectic day full of meetings, where better to chill out than a blip session down underneath the hammocks at the end of the garden.

I've taken shots from this spot before, but I thought I'd give it a go with a polariser and the variable ND to smooth out the rushing waters.

It also gave me a chance to try out my latest gadget. When my remote release died last week, I bought a new timer remote release. Whilst the D800 has a handy intervalometer, being able to set the exposure time to the second (as well as having multi-frame and delayed exposure modes) will come in really handy for nighttime and long exposures like this one. So far it's proving to be a handy purchase....
