Escape attempt

Just been along to see our egg providers. They are to be encouraged. Talk about free range - they are often about 200 yds from home. Such orange eggs.

A gale force 8 is forecast for tonight so although the wind is gradually rising I'm going for a walk along the cliff-top path to the Orkneyinga Saga Centre. Then up the Gyre Road to Gyre farm than down home onto the Breck.

This hen made its escape attempt during the only sunny blink this morning.
