Town Hall, Barnsley...
... in sunshine.
I took the train to Barnsley in South Yorkshire today, to see the Royal Photographic Society International Print Exhibition at the Civic Gallery. As you might expect, there are some excellent images in the exhibition see here..
Leaving the gallery, I wandered around the town centre where the Town Hall looked resplendent in the mid-day sunshine. The Portland Stone building was opened by the future King Edward VIII in December 1933.
