Very much the emergency, quick while the rain has stopped, blip tonight!

Last night's was a wash out as I had an accident and left my self almost unable to stand - let alone walk. I tripped on an obstacle in the dark that swung around and hit me extremely hard on the back of my lower leg. Luckily I'd been to the farm and I had thick socks and half chaps on and they absorbed some of the impact but it was a good few minutes before I could walk again and driving home was purgatory. I covered it in ice packs when I got home and took some anti-inflamatories and that helped to a degree. I call my physio this morning and he gave me advice and told me to go see him on Friday so it's been a day of ice packs, raised leg and hobbling. Fortunately it's eased off as the day has gone on so by the time I see him a lot of it should have sorted.
