Mrs42 informs me that all proper primates eat their bananas by holding them by the stalk (ie; the handle) and peeling them from the other end. Seeing as primary teachers are full of useful factoids like this it must be true, eh?

You can find the instructions online, but I'm yet to find any video or photographic proof. Urban myth or essential fact? You decide.

This was my first inverted peeling experiment and also an essential snack en route to a couple of visits and dinner this evening.
