Aurum and Aubergine
I managed this shot through the land rover window, stuck in traffic. Had I been alone I would have stopped to dwell on the sky. Perhaps even found somewhere quiet to lie for a while. But when you accept a lift you can hardly yell stop, every two minutes. I digress. A rainy day but as the sun sank, tangerine and aurum flooded the clouds which were piled in the west. Smaller clouds, tinted with aubergine scudded across the sunset. So close I could have touched them. On the fringes towering cumulus were tinted with rose. Oh for a wide angled lens and some dry turf for my back.
