Bridestones

We walked along the cinder track of the old railway between Whitby and Scarborough (which runs past a few metres from the front window of our caravan) down to Boggle Hole and then along the beach to Bay Town - probably one of my most favourite walks anywhere and we just about kept ahead of the weather. Unfortunately the rain started later - before we set off to drive, rather circuitously, through the Dalby Forest to see the weird jurassic rocks of Bridestones Moor - but luckily it largely held off long enough for us to climb up to - and onto - the Bridestones themselves. A pretty awesome place all in all...
