Just chewing my eggcup..

Awwww, I love today's pic. Eva sits as good as gold in her highchair waiting for me to sort the cats out every single morning. She will sit watching me, watching C Beebies, and play with things on her highchair tray that I end up picking up off the floor 20 odd times, but that's all part of the game.

After Eva's nap today we went to Musical Babies, and met Louise and baby Rhys there. As usual, Eva was bouncing up and down on my lap with glee at the songs and was so happy. She loves it! She has started waving more and more, and opening and closing her little hands, and she was doing this action today at some of the songs. I also enquired there about baby signing, which they don't have a class for, but I did learn how to sign please, thank you, more and milk.

We then went to my mom and Peter's, as we usually do on a Wednesday afternoon. My dad also popped in there, and David and Christopher were there too. Eva was not a happy girly, and was very clingy. I tried to let her have a roll around on the floor but she just cried, so ended up mainly sitting on my lap having cuddles.

When I was giving her her dinner tonight, I put the main lights on as it was quite dark in the back room. The lights were casting shadows from the bowl and spoon across Eva's highchair tray, and she kept trying to get hold of the shadows with her little fingers. So cute. She loves shadows. In the mornings when she's lying on her changing table, the light comes in through her bedroom window and casts shadows on her wall, and she's mesmerised by them. I often stand there making ducks, rabbits and doggies. Xxx
