Riley in Color

She's even prettier in large.

What a wet day! Rain, sleet and, dare I say it, S-N-O-W… The white stuff didn't stick for long, but I hear we are due for a few inches tonight. Man oh man… I'm not ready yet!

With the precipitation coming down most of the day, blipping was once again a challenge. Every time it seemed to stop, I'd grab my camera and run outside… As soon as I was ready to shoot, it would start falling on me again. This happened over and over again, but during a brief break I spotted Riley up on the hill with the colorful trees in the background. I loved the look on her face and knew I had my blip. Surprisingly, she let me take the picture (several in fact). I think she was concentrating on a chattery squirrel in the neighbor's yard. Had she realized that she was my subject, she'd have ducked around the corner for sure. :)
