Best. Hike. Ever.

Yup, my favorite hike in the world. It's all exposed, along the ridge across Mt. Washington, Clay, Jefferson, the 2 peaks of Adams, and then Madison. Large rocks which make hiking interesting, sweeping views, spur trails to each summit, and--BEST part--there are LOTS of trail signs telling you how far you've gone every mile or so.

The sun came out and not a cloud was in the sky as we hiked across the ridge to Madison hut (6.8 miles). I left my family (and what smelled like a delicious dinner) behind at the hut and ran the 3.7 miles down to the trailhead to drive back to school.

Body VERY sore, but TOTALLY worth it.
