Blue Loo in Spring
It was a very early walk this morning. The dogs and I were on the tracks well before sunrise. There was a light nor-west wind blowing with clouds moving across the top of The Ned in the south. We ventured as far as the “convenient convenience”, the Blue Loo in the Gateway Vineyard just to the south of the wall of the Taylor Dam.
The scene is in great contrast to when I last photographed this area back in the late winter. There are leaves a-plenty on the vines and the willows in the background are in full leaf. Everything is bright green although the cloudy start to the day does not show the spring hues to advantage. Oh well, we can’t have everything……
