Underfoot . . . .

I think this is Reindeer Moss. It grows up on the cliff top, in amongst the heather and ling, but because it is so tiny you need to get really close to it to see how beautiful it is.

Wild and windy up there today. Tricky standing still, never mind keeping a camera steady, so rather than try and brace myself to attempt photos of gannets diving in the waves, I settled for something at ground level!
