Oh, What a Beautiful Morning...........

….......and down by the local lake, it really was. This was taken at about 9.25am and, except for the sound of birdsong, it was almost completely silent.. There were a few birds, mainly blackbirds and starling pecking around in the grass, some ducks adabbling, and a couple of swans gliding but no sign of human life whatsoever. I could have been the only person alive in the world - and it was lovely!
As I left, one or two cars started to arrive - a fishing match was due to begin at 10 o'clock - if it stays like this, they will have a great day.

My body clock is, as usual, beginning to prepare for the change of our ordinary clocks which takes place this coming Sunday - I seem to be waking up almost exactly 15mins later every morning! By my calculations, I should just about have adjusted completely by Sunday! I have no idea why but this happens every Spring and Autumn!

As already said, it really is lovely if a bit chilly near the water - it's now 10.45am and thermometer is reading 51 Deg.F.
