It was a good afternoon for watching birds. The sun came out and the centre was quiet. It took my mind off the imminent need to find a new job and the lack of confidence and purpose that is making it difficult to get out of bed. Ducks don't have these kind of concerns. They know what they're supposed to be doing and they do it.
