The Moon on the Moor
Our evening walk was longer than usual last night and the moon was very bright on the drive home. I decided to experiment and take a night time shot on Roborough Down. I had a little play with this at the beginning of last week and had hoped to have another go with the full moon last Friday – but the clouds interfered.
For this I used the monopod I carry with my rucksac, a 30 second exposure and a bit of fiddling. This is the result and whilst the moon is a little over exposed I am very pleased with it. I am surprised I haven't tried this before, maybe that's what blipping does to you! Lots of ideas now for more night time shots. Just need a bright moon and a clear sky. This was taken just after midnight - eventually I got to bed.
