Trafalgar Square to Westminster

Today N and I took the early train, which we nearly missed as we had to go back for N's pills, to Waterloo.  We were spending the night in London to meet N's cousin from Toronto who has been visiting her brother diagnosed with cancer.  The three of us went to the National Portrait Gallery for the afternoon and so this rather blurred photo was taken on the way!  In the evening A, her brother B and we went out to eat at a Turkish restaurant in Southampton Row and had a lovely evening.  The food was delicious and we had a great time catching up and feeding positive thoughts to B as he plods through months of treatment.  So far he is doing well.
