Misty Morning at Home

This is the view from the back of our house.  I've zoomed it slightly to flatten the image a little but otherwise this is it.
It used to be a wall of trees but 5 or 6 years ago the farmer cut down the forest and our view opened up.  Friends from England were ambivalent about our forest disappearing but not us as it means sun in the house in the winter, lovely views like this and a slightly more breezy existence which is nice in summer.  If we want to walk in deep forest we just walk an extra 5 minutes and we're there.
The forest is now replanted and in about 80 years it'll be ready to fell once again. You need a long term view to be a forester in mid Sweden.
