On your toes!

Our group of mature dancers were put through our paces this morning by 25-year-old Emily Tucker, freelance dance artist, at the Macrobert arts centre.

She introduced us to beginners ballet, something reserved normally for six year olds not 60 year olds.


But such is our topsy-turvy word these days that stereotypes of what is expected of older people are being challenged every day.

The best bit though was the “free expression” where we created our own moves.
