Apprenticeship = Finished

Well, that is it. Four years of working for someone I don't particularly like for shit money is all over. I finished today. The paperwork is signed off. Monday I start my career over.

After imagining all sorts of confrontations with the boss, it all went smoothly. He lectured me on the benefit of having done my apprenticeship with his sompany and it's reputation in the wide world. (coughs) Bullshit! I can't believe he believes that stuff himself.

The main thing is that at 41 I am finally trade qualified, all be it about 20 years too late. On top of that, come Monday I am starting a very good job.

What a relief. Now to go and celebrate...
