Sun-kissed Fungi

Had to backblip yesterday's Mother Nature's Curly-Wurly! :-)

What a beautiful day ..... the sun has been shining & the sky is blue!!

This fungi looked rather pretty with the sun shining on it ...... almost like a fairy village! Do hope you like it :-)

Finally ....... I can tell you my news!!!!

Eldest Son has been awarded a "Commander's Commendation"* for going 'above & beyond the call of duty' in his job while in Afghanistan!!!!! I am sooooo proud of him!

*Official wording: Commander Joint Force Support Commendation from Air Chief Marshall Bissell (he is the RAF equivilent of a General and is in charge of all the support elements in Bastion)

More good news: Eldest Son is now home in England & has completed his Afghanistan tour of duty!!! Hooray!!!! Today is a really great day :-)

My thoughts go out to all the service personnel who are still over there & their families ...... may they all return home safely.
