Painter in a Beret
A day filled with so much beauty hard to know how to take it all in.
Walked along Newhall Valley with M, to the dentist, where the poor guy had ANOTHER tooth removed. Then on the bus to my Mum's, and then to Lichfield, to see an exhibition of photos that a friend took on a pilgimage to the Holy Land.
Friesias opening red and orange on the breakfast table. The grass covered in diamonds. Pools of golden light through autumn trees. Reflections of Lichfield Cathedral in the Minster Pool. Seagulls fluttering over the water. Silver cobwebs crisscrossing mounds of dirt in the flower beds. Ladybirds crawling over the statue of Erasmus Darwin.
But went for this one of a painter inside the Cathedral, mainly because I love the look of delight on the face of the onlooker.
