Migrating swans

Have been at Donna Nook all day as my seal warden duties have started up again. And what a fabulous day it was. Blue skies, warm, two pups lots of bulls and pregnant cows (that's a female seal!) already. Didn't need a coat - amazing for the end of October but I gather it's all downhill weatherwise from now on!
These swans arrived for a rest and bit of refreshment before taking off again and it was a glorious sight.
There were skeins of geese flying over, knots in murmurations and Brent geese galore as well as all the usual waders.
A truly fabulous day.
