Place of work

I have worked in this building for 12 and a half years. Next year we are moving to a new premises, a purpose built lab. I'm told this new build is awesome. It will be nice to be in brand new accommodation, rather than squeezed into a corner of a building, a space that we outgrew several years ago.

But I will miss this building. It's city centre location is ideal. I have a number of travel options to get here. I have shops, bars and restaurants a plenty to visit when I can make the time, friends working nearby I can meet at short notice. Our new lab is remote, near nothing, and has no public transport links. And limited parking. Expect to see more comments about this move. It is fast approaching whether I like it or not.
