Room with a view

Many views actually and has been my world today.

My day started by blipping the view from my window (will add to today's diary when I am a full member) the day was planned to meet up with Karen & Crissy and other new faces on a 5 mile walk. Thank goodness I recognised it was too soon after my operation on Tuesday. I was so disappointed, no prospect of a decent landscape and I really wanted to socialise too. I took this blip instead. It's a favourite as it belonged to my dear late mum - it's only now that I see it's beauty, ironic really as mum is no longer here to share. Perhaps I needed her close today...


The morning whacked me out orchestrating one engineer on the fridge/freezer and another on the outside lights and bathroom electrics - what did they think of my "shades" (another opportunity for another pic here) I am so light sensitive at the moment - plus I booked my post op appointment with the optician that found the troublesome cataract - combinations of that plus needing "time post op" meant that I resolved myself to a well deserved cat nap for 3 hours - how was I ever going to manage a 5 mile walk, such an optimist !

The car arrived on the driveway after it's MOT (which needed help to pass) just before it was time for the switching on the lights ready for Ryan's return - a celebrity's welcome, my celebrate anyway, ah.
