Shadows in the library
There can't be many libraries where the sun can be a problem. But on this lovely blue sky day, the south-facing windows of Birmingham Central Library created a sun trap for all us bookworms. I had a thoroughly enjoyable five hours reading, studying and writing while looking out on to Centenary Square. This blip was taken at about midday. The circle shadows are caused by the round-rimmed metal structures that barnacle the building.
