Odd wee figures
I went down to St Margaret's Hope and then walked out to Hoxa Head. There is a World War II gun battery there and I stopped to make coffee in the shelter if gives from the wind. Then further along to another battery called Balfour. As I walked about I noticed a wee woollen figure with a sack tied to the pillar of a gun-slit in one of the buildings. Only when I got home did I realise that there is a tag. It says HE Gasaer. Weird! Birds seen: hen harrier, gannet, long-tailed duck, brambling, blackcap, and two chiffchaffs (probably Siberian ones!).
