Filling Shoe Boxes

Operation Christmas Child is a charity that gives hope to children. Today I had the grandchildren so we went shopping for things to put in the boxes. Our 4-year old understands that there are children less fortunate and she was very decisive in what she wanted to give. Our 2-year-old just had fun shopping. Our daughter and her baby joined us and together we shopped, filled the boxes, went out for lunch and then went through other toys I had stored and got a couple of bagfuls to donate. All in all, it was a productive, fun day!
