Time Piece (2)

This is the most useless sundial in the world - on top of a pillar. I'm sure that it wasn't always away up high where no one could see it and think I have a slide taken about 40 years ago. I think it was placed on the pillar to preserve it from vandals but can't find the evidence. My favourite inscription from the base is " Time as he passes us has a dove's wing unsoiled and swift and of a silken sound"
