Levi puppicus

Rainbow lorakeets chatter overhead in bright colors. Wax palms and tropical ornamentals sway in the breeze. And parades of flying foxes (giant fruit bats) silhouette the evening skies.

Here in Queensland it daily dawns on us that we are in a remarkably different land with different creatures. Still no kangaroos yet, though Lina and I continue to enjoy looking after the strangest of creatures - Levi puppicus. Some say he is a rambunctious Italian Greyhound pup ... though we have a suspicion he is entirely new to science. Some combination of kangaroo, badger and monkey...
