Reading space

the book shelves are full

those in the hall

and the living room
and the bedroom
and the kitchen
and the studio
and the kid's room

there are a few set aside to go second hand sales
there are some to be returned to the library
there are some in the process of having noses stuck in them

and there are some creeping along the landing

hidden in cupboards
under tables and chairs
in bags
and pockets
and cars

and there are some stacked

in a slowly growing wall

with a little luck
it will turn out to be the oft longed for library room in the house
