Nuthatch departing birdtable !

Spent about an hour and a half at the hide with HeronHunter this morning and got this shot of a nuthatch as he left the bird table. Got lots of other shots of him too, mainly blurred as he was moving quickly, plus quite a few shots of logs, table, sticks etc. where there was a bird when I pressed the shutter, but it had gone by the time the camera clicked! Such is life!

Not much else about today, other than blue tits, great tits, chaffinch, robin and wren. Plus of course a selection of waterbirds including coot, moorhen, little grebe, Canada geese, swans, heron, cormorant and various 'ducks and gulls'. If the kingfisher didn't want to appear and see me then that's his loss!

So all in all a good morning out and I didn't get wet.
