Just an Ordinary Day (Not)

Today was going to be a tidy up day ,clear some of the painter's crap away to skip plus some other items we had no longer need for. We had our relations from Jersey coming up next week-end for 4 days so a bit of sorting out was required. However things did not go as planned the painter did not finish in time so we were still in a mess paint wise. I had sorted out bags of rubbish and a old trink to be taken to recycling centre, not much and not heavy.Anyway all went well and dropped it off at R/C came home and went for a shower. Came out of shower and thought I had been stabbed tremendous pain down below. By the time my wife had come home I was in agony and it was getting worse,after NHS24 suggested ambulance as there was no way I could get in car the boy's in green arrived. In the next few hours I had an emergency operation for a strangled hernia and tucked away in ERI.
