With great pride

As we move towards the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th Month it is time for me to wear with great pride my Armed Forces Veteran's Badge. Every year I wear this alongside my poppy to show my respect for those who served and died for this country.

I served for twelves years and loved the comradeship, friendship and tradition that the Armed Forces gave to me and they are very treasure memories as they also are for my dearest who also served.

I am one who will stop whatever I am doing and observe the two minutes silence as this is the least I can do for the ultimate sacrifice paid by so many to let me live the life I do now.
