Edinburgh's Finest
Well it was a rotten day weather wise most of the day but having sat spare doing nothing but eat toasties and Costa Coffee's and a lemon tart with white chocolate ganache mmm tasty I headed home after taking not one photo so when I got home I scoured about for something to blip and now you know I have a small selection of 1:76th scale model Lothian Region buses well I do also have a selection of Scottish Omnibuses as well including Fife,Kelvin,Northern and Midland Scottish buses with still a few more to collect with Eastern,Western, Lowland to name but a few but I have a few Lothian ones still to collect including a new Green one number 113 that goes from Pencaitland to The Western General Hospital as that doesn't come out until late November but I do prefer Lothian buses for the colour especially being a Edinburgh man and also a Hearts fan which are similar in colour to Hearts Maroon although the official colour is classed as "Madder" which you can see on the number 15A Eastfield bus on the left, Lothian buses can be dated back to the old Edinburgh Street Tramway's Company 1871 with a few name changes until present day Lothian Buses and over the last few years they have won several awards for bus operator/company on numerous years recently so I though I would post this blip of my wee collection on the day when reading today's Scotsman Newspaper Edinburgh was voted 2nd best city in the UK close behind Bristol so not a bad position to hold and I'm sure most Edinburgers would agree that it is a most beautiful city indeed especially when the weather is nice anyway this is my blip for today now then movie for the day is "Shortbus 2006"
