The good old Co-Op

....or should I say the new one. This is the new Co-Op national headquarters in Manchester. The best view is as you drive down the side from Piccadilly and you can see the top and entire shape which is like the bow of a ship with terraces along. Unfortunately, its pretty hard to get out of the car at that point to take a picture!
It was pretty much battering rain most of the day today, but when the sun came out strongly early afternoon the whole construction was gleaming as I drove past so I zipped into its carpark and snapped this from the side.
I like how you can see the sky through the glass roof.
