Damons (the place for ribs) originally ;)

Dining out again, this time at an old haunt we'd not been to for a long time, Damons of Lincoln.
What used to be the place for ribs until recently a new franchise opened up in town - Ribs & Bibs (not been there yet, I've heard its nice).
A brief description of Damons as follows;
Damons opened their first UK restaurant in 1988 and now have restaurant
in Lincoln, Sheffield and Liverpool. We specialise in cuisine from the American Continent, with dishes ranging from award winning barbecue ribs and their specialty onion loaf to fine steaks, quality seafood, quality burgers, sourdough sandwiches and much more…

Damons pride themselves on being one of the few restaurant chains that genuinely cooks to order, using fresh products wherever possible. Combine this with generous portions and a relaxed atmosphere and Damons really is the place to eat. Damons can seat over 150 guests at each of their restaurants. A spacious and comfortable lounge where guests can enjoy drinks both before and after their meal is complete a fine dining experience for the whole family.
It may have serious competition now but I think they've upped their game a bit and gone all out to make dining out there a bit more specia :)
