A curate's egg sort of a day

Dean the decorator speeding along in the front room , but bay window he's painting was covered in water 'from a leak somewhere.
Managed to find a home for our large desk on Freecycle. Chose some coloured paint without too much deliberation - Wimbourne white and Clunch (sounds very similar to a rude word I've heard the children using).
Did absolutely nothing of use at work because I felt a bit like shit under the weather.
