Sunset by the non-swing bridge
Walking into town this evening for something I'd forgotten to do was a very pleasant experience accompanied by a beautiful sunset sky.
I wandered off the route to get to the Town Quay where I was lucky enough to capture the sunset reflected in Faversham Creek at high tide.
The bridge there used to swing open to allow barges into the basin to load and unload gunpowder and fertiliser. There are hopes that one day the bridge will be replaced by a modern swing or lift bridge to reinvigorate this area.
