Nature's first green

Nature's first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leafs a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.

I love October Autumn. I think Robert Frost must have been lucky enough to live somewhere he could watch the seasons change in peace and quiet. I know there are so many more interesting and fantastic views, but this is my view when I arrive home from work and I feel lucky to have it :-)
