Waiting

In this case waiting to pay for parking at the QE hospital. Visited Dad early today as we needed confirmation of what sort of microwave he wanted us to get for Mom and him. He was looking a little better today but has gone back to talking to us with his eyes closed a lot of the time. He was visited by the Occupational Therapist today and first of all told her that he wouldn't need any help when he got home and Mom told her that she was perfectly fine at cooking all meals. Fortunately my sister was there to correct the record a little. Mom had to do something really difficult today - she filled in the form to give up her driving licence. She can't understand why she's got to do that at all. I can't explain how painful it was to watch her anguish.
