Ravenscraig Castle

I have blipped this ruin before but not recently so it is about due for a revival.

Ravenscraig Castle is now a ruin. It was ordered by King James II as a home for his wife and built around 1460. It was an early example (maybe the first) of a defence against cannon fire and as an artillery defence.
