Wild, Wet and Windy

Today is the first day of the 'Hard Labour Weekend' here in Twizel. The weather is cold, wet and windy, and even us non competitors were pretty cold waiting for the cyclists to come in. We were waiting for little 'h's dad, who took just over 2 hours to complete the course. We are now sitting in front of the fire sipping on hot drinks. Little 'h' and her mum have the nice colourful gumboots. It is running / walking tomorrow. Let's hope it will be hot and sunny.
