The Road to Nowhere

The last of my October Friday vacation days was a breezy, blustery day, with dramatic intervals of clouds and sun. My husband and I went for a five-mile hike in our local Moshannon state forest that took us most of the afternoon.

And there in the middle of nowhere, we came upon this road to nowhere. It started and ended . . . nowhere. But what a lovely trip it was to get there! The song: Talking Heads, Road to Nowhere.
