In the woods again.

So we have savage storms forecast, and it's the last day of British summertime, so i wanted to make the most of the milder weather with a trip out out this afternoon for some fresh air with the 'big' camera, to see what I could find (hoping for fungi mostly). Not sure if it's entirely as a result of the heavy preassure by so many dog walkers (It's a popular spot) but the woods seemed a bit barren. So heres' not a fungi, but a lichen. this one is a type of Cladonia, and is related to reindeer food.
