An Autumn Stroll.

Many people in the city today for the Graduation Ceremony in the Senate House, and lots of bowler hatted chaps walking around the colleges. This one was strolling amongst the autumn leaves along the Backs, which is the area across the river Cam behind the colleges. As I walked back into the city, I found the main shopping centre cordoned off, due to a bomb alert ! Lots of police, fire engines and ambulances around, the shops were evacuated and all buses were diverted. This meant I couldn't do any shopping and I had to walk a long way to find a bus home. At the moment all we know is that there were a couple of controlled explosions, still, better safe than sorry !
